OUTBUILDING

An outbuilding is a non-habitable building that is normally located at the end of your garden. Outbuildings can be utilised in different ways such as creating an office space, gym, games room, storage and work studio. Outbuilding drawings generally fall under Permitted Development and would not need planning permission unless you live in a conservation area or listed building.

An outbuilding is a great way to create space for additional rooms for activities that you cannot do in your main house such as a gym or office space. Many find that outbuilding drawings are quite cost-effective and practical due to several factors such as limited space in the house but have an abundance in garden size.
